Prepared- Are You Ready for Invisible Emergencies Like Cyberattacks?
You can plan, plot, and prep all you want for hands-on physical emergencies like natural disasters, active shooters, and plain old accidents at home, but it’s hard prepping if all your money’s gone.
That’s why I wanted to talk about an invisible crime for this lesson…cyberattacks.
Everyone is open to these.
It doesn’t matter if you’re off grid with no wi-fi, no phone, no TV, no nothing but a few cans of SPAM and beans.
You can still get hit.
As a matter of fact, you’d be a prime victim for someone to steal your identity, because you’d never know.
Cyberattacks can take on so many forms, so I won’t list them all here. The infosheet for you to download does list all the main tips to try and stay safe.
I’ve got a friend who’s a bit paranoid about ID theft. I’m talking crazy paranoid. I don’t get that way for a couple of reasons:
Number one- I don’t want WORRYING about something to take over my life.
Number two- There’s only so much I can do to stop it. Believe me, the criminals involved in this stuff are way more sophisticated than you or I.
So, like any other Everyday Emergency or Disaster Level Event, I take practical steps to Plan, Prepare, and Prevent.
I want you to do the same. Be practical. Be smart. Don’t let it take over your life or steal…
