Ditch the Zantac (Ranitidine) Now!
This one kind of flew under the radar with all the both real and out-of-touch with reality COVID-19 coverage.
The FDA called for all stocks of Zantac (generic name ranitidine) to be pulled from the shelves immediately. Apparently, it was discovered that as it sat on the shelf, a critical component of the drug became carconogenic.
This is bad news for preppers and parents both. Although Zantac isn’t something on the list of critical preps, if you’re like me, you don’t throw out any old meds. You just save them until you need them or the apocalypse happens and you trade them for other stuff.
As soon as I saw this, I immediately raided our home medical room to check. Sure enough, there was a bottle of cheap ranitidine. There were actually two colors of pills in it, which means some were older than the rest.
Pass this along. Most people probably don’t know, as anything other than worrying about COVID simply isn’t making it to the top of the news feeds.
Below is a graphic you can share. Feel free to post it everywhere.
Stay safe in the COVID slowpocalypse!
